Vilfredo Pareto, fransk-italiensk ekonom och sociolog (1848-1923) är mest känd för sina teorier om eliters uppgång och fall och om drivkrafterna bakom människors tillsynes logiska men ologiska handlingar.

This is the first book to rethink Pareto's contribution to classical sociology by focusing upon its psychological underpinning. The author locates the origins of Pareto's psychologistic Vilfredo Pareto Pareto was an economist and sociologist of Italian origin, born in Paris (1848-1923), who taught at the University of Lausanne, as well as previously did his mentor, Léon Walras . They both were part of the Lausanne School , which is considered, along with the Austrian School , as the birthplace of marginalism and neoclassical economics . Published in 1978, "The Economics of Vilfredo Pareto" is an important contribution to History.
